Last week we attended the annual Child Cancer Foundation Champions Lunch along with many other attendees from businesses around NZ. We were all united together for a common cause which gave Inter-Fridge the opportunity to donate to this organisation to help the many children and their families affected by cancer each day.
If you’re not aware, proceeds from each sale we make also go toward helping the Child Cancer Foundation and the work it does for the community. However the Champions Lunch was a more direct way of showing our support by way of silent and live auctions, raffles and draws.
The MC for the afternoon was Hamish McKay with very special guests Ex All Blacks Greats.
Highlights included an $8 meat pie auctioned off for $8k! A huge $178k was raised on the day which will go toward helping children and their families by providing further personalised care for each family.
We can’t wait to continue our support of this fantastic organisation and hope to get involved in other fundraising activities next year.
